Privacy Policy — The Chase

What We Collect

The Chase collects the minimum data needed to run a private, two-person connection game for couples:

• Email address — account sign-in (magic link or password for review accounts)
• Display name and role — how you show up to your partner inside the couple
• Couple content you create — missions, rituals, vault secrets (encrypted), wishlist/dossier fields, heist results, and reactions you choose to save
• Optional push token — so we can send the daily nudge and partner alerts you enable
• AI coaching context — limited couple state sent to the model only to generate the next whisper or mission; not used to train models

Intimacy & Content

The Chase is an adults-only couples app. Vault items and some missions may include intimate or suggestive language you and your partner write. That content is stored for your couple only (encrypted at rest for vault secrets) and is never sold, never shown to other couples, and never used for advertising.

How We Store It

Data lives on Supabase infrastructure in the United States. Transport uses TLS. Vault secrets use application-level encryption. Row-level security limits each account to its own couple membership.

AI Features

Coaching whispers and some mission generation use Anthropic (Claude) and/or OpenRouter. Only the minimum couple context needed for that response is sent. Providers do not train on your data under their enterprise terms. Generated text is stored in your couple's feed.

Pricing

The Chase v1 is free. There are no in-app purchases in this release. If we add optional premium features later, billing will go through Apple and we will never store card numbers.

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your data
• We do not show ads
• We do not train AI models on your vault or journals
• We do not share couple content with other users
• We do not collect location or Contacts
• We do not track you across other apps or sites

Children's Privacy

The Chase is for adults 17+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 17. Contact support@pepstarllc.com if you believe a minor created an account and we will delete it.

Account Deletion

Delete your account in the app: Us → Delete Account (confirm twice). That permanently removes your auth account and your Chase data. Your partner keeps their own account. You can also email support@pepstarllc.com from your registered email.
